Bacton

Located on the North Norfolk coast, between Mundesley and Happisburgh, lies the picturesque village of Bacton. Time almost stands still here. For Bacton is a place that's far enough away to help you forget the rest of the world but not too far to make you feel isolated.

It's a place full of contrasts. There are wide and spacious sands that give way to a charming panorama of coastal cottages. Along the coast to the west stand majestic cliffs revealing fossils of an ancient forest.

Spectacular seascapes mark the early morning and late evening. Often sand pools form which are rich in marine life just waiting to he explored and pebbles of all kinds line the shore - Amber, Agates, Chalcedony - perhaps other, even more precious stones.
